Communication is a basic human right.

Speech pathologists work directly with children and adolescents to assess their communication skills. We also provide one on one support to achieve the best possible outcome for clients with complex communication needs, including developmental delay, learning disability, Down syndrome, and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder.

For many children and adolescents with complex communication needs, we can maximise their potential to help them communicate their ideas, understand and follow instructions, process information for learning, increase intelligibility, and achieve fluent speech. Intervention can be individualised to address specific difficulties identified in the areas of speech, listening and understanding, stuttering, social skills, and literacy
